Center Stage- Sylvania Children’s Theater winter musical production of Shrek is now scheduling audition times. Auditions will take place December 3-4 for the March 7-9th 2025 production at the Franciscan Center, Lourdes University. Children 8-18 with stage and musical experience should sign up now!


Join the Sylvania Community Orchestra at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2024, live from Lourdes University’s Franciscan Center for a free community concert. The Sylvania Community Orchestra is excited to share their November program entitled: “Dial M for Music.” This concert will feature music from composers whose names begin with the letter “M” such as Mussorgsky, Mendelssohn, and Massenet and will include orchestral favorites, pop-tune tributes, and even some holiday cheer. This concert is brought to you through the generous support of our friends at The Crescent luxury independent living apartments.

SHORTIES U IS BACK for 2025!

Shorties U is an engaging four Saturday filmmaking workshop for kids in grades 5-8 (Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22) from 9 am-noon. Taught be area filmmaking mentors, kids will partipate in creating a script, acting in the film, and creating a short 8 min (or less) film to be screened at our Shorties U Film screening in March.
