Join the Sylvania Community Orchestra at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025 live from Lourdes University’s Franciscan Center for a free community concert. This concert will feature music performed by our two winners of the Young Artists Solo Competition, Joanna Kim on flute and Bridget Yun on cello. The Sylvania Community Orchestra engages hundreds of community members with four FREE concerts each year, in addition to small ensemble performances throughout Sylvania. The Orchestra is made up of over 65 volunteer musicians who practice once a week, and concerts are 1-1.5 hrs long and feature well known works of the world’s best composers including Tchaikovsky, Brahms and Strauss.
