Center Stage Youth Theatre Summer Camp July 29-Aug 9 2024

Sylvania Youth Theater Summer Camp will be held on the campus of Lourdes University July 29-Aug 9th.

“Area students ages 9-18 interested in theatre have a great opportunity to expand their skill set and

explore creative expression with Sylvania Arts "

The two week summer camp will be M-F, 9 am-12 noon at the Russell Ebeid Hall at Lourdes University. A performance to showcase the students’ work will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday Aug 8th. Aug. 9th will be a fun day of theater games and more. Kids ages 9-18 are eligible to participate.  The show chosen for performance will depend on the number of registrants and their performance experience. However, it will have some music, singing and possibly dancing (but not a full musical show). "Being onstage helps kids create their own characters, develop their confidence and self-esteem, and learn how to successfully work together in putting on a show," said Irina Zaurov, creative director of the Sylvania Arts Youth Theatre Program. Registration fees are $150 per student and includes a youth t-shirt. Please note that credit card fees are non-refundable.

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW FULL- hope to see you at our spring musical ”Shrek Jr.”
